Nola Tchoup Block Wins VetLaunch Pitch Competition

King, Krebs & Jurgens congratulates Nola Tchoup Block CEO Kay Champagne and COO Mitch Champagne, who were the winners of New Orleans Entrepreneur Week's VetLauch Showcase pitch competition.

The VetLaunch Showcase was the culmination of the nine-week VetLaunch Accelerator, a program for five early-stage, veteran-owned New Orleans businesses. The program’s goal was to harness the leadership experience of military veterans as a resource for creating successful businesses. King, Krebs & Jurgens provided group instruction in intellectual property law by Len Brignac (pictured, left, with Kay, Mitch, and VetLaunch founder Bob Armbruster) as well as pro bono legal counseling during the course of the Accelerator program, and has committed to continuing to provide the entrepreneurs with pro bono legal assistance over the next year.

The VetLaunch Showcase also featured REConnected, presenter: Jevon Gibb, U.S. Navy; Charlotte Aquarius, presenter: Charlotte Henry, U.S. Navy; enmasse Media, presenter: Cade London, U.S. Army; and madjac music, presenter: Jeff Widenhofer, U.S. Navy.
