Burke Stough Joins King & Jurgens Commercial Litigation Team

King & Jurgens is pleased to announce that D. Burke Stough has joined the firm's growing commercial litigation team as an associate. Burke brings with him an array of business expertise which he has developed through professional stints in law, public accounting, and private enterprise. Prior to joining King & Jurgens, Burke served as the CFO for a commodities brokerage firm. He also has years of experience representing healthcare providers and businesses across a variety of matters. 

Burke graduated magna cum laude from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 2015 where he received the William E. Mouledoux Award, the American Bankruptcy Institute Medal of Excellence, and Legal Excellence Awards for Constitutional Law, Donations & Trust, the Legal Profession, and Bankruptcy and Creditors Rights. During his studies, Burke was also a member of the Loyola Law Review, a student assistant to Professor Dane Ciolino, and an extern for the IRS. 

Prior to law school, Burke attended Tulane University for his Bachelor of Science Management and Master of Accounting degrees and then practiced public accounting as a Certified Public Accountant.
