Patricia Krebs Departs Firm for General Counsel Position

03.01.2018

After almost 35 years of serving the legal needs of our clients, Patricia Krebs is leaving our firm to assume the position of General Counsel for The Celtic Group. We extend our heartiest congratulations on her new position.

Patricia Krebs has forged a high-profile history as a leading attorney in her field, as reflected by her recognition as the first woman to receive the New Orleans Bar Association Distinguished Maritime Lawyer Award, which is only one of the numerous awards she has garnered over the years. She has been named on the peer-reviewed The Best Lawyers in America list for the last six years. Additionally, she has been named on the Louisiana Super Lawyers list for over a decade, and has been among the top 25 women on the Louisiana Super Lawyers list from 2012-2018.

Her contributions to the Bar have been many, including serving as past President of both the New Orleans Bar Association and Louisiana Bar Foundation. Of further note is her service for two terms as President of the Fulbright Association National Board, and her long-term service on the Board of Directors of Covenant House New Orleans, where she also served as president for four years. Currently, Patricia is serving as the Planning Committee Chair for the 27th Biennial Admiralty Law Institute, one of the most prestigious maritime programs in the United States.

It is with deep appreciation that we thank Patricia for her many contributions to our firm and wish her the very best in her new endeavor.
