Robert Stefani Named to New Orleans CityBusiness "Leadership in Law" List for 2020
Robert J. Stefani has been named to the New Orleans CityBusiness "Leadership in Law" List for 2020. The 16th edition of the annual list "stands as a record of local professionals who have distinguished themselves within the legal industry as well as the larger community," according to the newspaper. This is the second time Bob has been included on the CityBusiness list, having also been named as an honoree in 2011.
Bob practices in the areas of financial, commercial, and corporate transactions; commercial litigation; and government regulation. He also advises clients in resolving commercial disputes, workouts, collections, complex reorganization and liquidation cases, and the prosecution and defense of bankruptcy-related claims. He has served as president of the Board of Trustees of Crescent City Schools since 2017 and has served on the board since 2012.
In his "Leadership in Law" profile, available here on page 32, Bob says he knew as a teenager that he was interested in law. "I was interested in history, politics and civics and noticed the role of law and justice in the development of civilizations," he said. "I thought then and now that it is an honorable profession, built on relationships, aimed at helping people through all walks of life."
