King & Jurgens Enters Fifth Year of Son of a Saint Partnership with Donation towards Organization’s New Headquarters
King & Jurgens is very pleased to announce its fifth year of partnership with Son of a Saint, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing mentorship and other support services to fatherless boys in the New Orleans metropolitan area. The firm marked the occasion with a $25,000 donation to the Son of a Saint capital campaign, matching the firm’s 2020 and 2021 donations to the Son of a Saint’s capital campaign and bringing the firm’s total support for Son of a Saint over the past five years to over $125,000.
The capital campaign is funding the acquisition and renovation of a permanent home for the Son of a Saint organization in the Mid-City area. The newly renovated location will provide a safe place for Son of a Saint's young men to socialize in a nurturing environment and to support the numerous programs that Son of a Saint has implemented to allow these young men the opportunity to live a full and successful life.
“The firm is delighted to support such a wonderful and critically important organization for our most vulnerable young men. Son of a Saint has proven to be a transformative experience for the young men in its program as demonstrated by the many successes of its graduates. There can be no more important mission than to give these young men the opportunities in life that we so often take for granted. Our firm is very proud to continue our partnership with this worthwhile organization,” said Henry King, Managing Member of King & Jurgens and member of the Son of a Saint Board of Directors.
Son of a Saint provides fatherless boys in its program mentorship, academic support, mental health services, college preparation, career exploration and other support. Last year, the organization grew its enrollment by 100% when it increased its program size to serve 200 boys. To learn more about Son of a Saint, visit www.sonofasaint.org.
