Costello National Criminal Law Trial Advocacy Competition and a Top Three National finish at the American Association for Justice (AAJ) Student Trial Advocacy Competition (STAC), which featured over 220 teams and 900 competitors.

Before embarking on his legal career at Tulane, Marco earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Vanderbilt University, with a double concentration in Political Science and Public Policy. While at Vanderbilt, Marco was named a featured author at the Vanderbilt Undergraduate Writing Symposium and was published in the Vanderbilt Undergraduate Research Journal. He also worked as a project manager and construction estimator for a local construction company.
