Nicole Babb is an associate in the New Orleans office of King & Jurgens. Her practice focuses primarily on commercial litigation and general corporate law. She also handles construction litigation, employment and labor disputes, consumer disputes, and general casualty defense.
Nicole represents clients large and small – from local businesses to international corporations – across a variety of industries, and has represented auto dealers, food manufacturers, restaurant groups, and construction firms. She has experience in both state and federal court proceedings, as well as arbitration and mediation proceedings, and has also represented clients in front of governmental agencies.
A native of Westwego, Louisiana, Nicole earned her J.D. from Loyola University of New Orleans College of Law, where she was a William L. Crowe, Sr. Scholar, denoting a graduation in the top 10% of her class. While in law school, she was a Case Note/Comment Editor for Loyola Law Review, a Legal Research and Writing teaching assistant, and Chair of Alumni Relations for the Student Bar Association.
Nicole began her legal career by clerking for Judge Mary Hotard Becnel in the 40th Judicial District Court. She additionally served as a judicial extern for Judge Fallon in the U.S. Eastern District and as a judicial intern for Judge Wicker in the Louisiana Fifth Circuit while in law school.
Prior to beginning her legal career, Nicole served as the Marketing Director for a regional engineering firm headquartered in New Orleans.
